Torchwood: Series 4 was confirmed last night by the BBC. It was said that the long-time rumored US remake of the hit sci-fi "Doctor Who" spin-off is actually the fourth series of the show. Next year will see Captain Jack and Gwen go International with Torchwood. Sounds pretty sweet. The new series is to be a BBC/US production this time round and for any future seasons of the show.
So far, all we know about the plot is that the character of Rhys may only be returning briefly as he is staying home with the newly born baby. Gwen's such a nice mother. Leaving her newly born baby with the father, while she travels the world looking for monsters.
The new series is scheduled to air in Summer 2011 on BBC 1.
