Favreau Confirms That "Iron Man 3" Will Be A Sequel To "THOR", "Captain America" & "The Avengers"

While in an interview with MTV, Jon Favreau confimed that the upcoming 2013 sequel, "Iron Man 3" will not only be a sequel to the first two "Iron Man" films, but will infact be a sequel to Marvel's upcoming 2011 epic, "The First Avenger: Captain America", the other 2011 historical epic, "THOR" and 2012's action-packed "The Avengers".
He also announced that scouting for location for "IM3" has already began. So far he's looking at places like Troy and New York. EXCITING!
