Bruce Greenwood, who played Pike in the 2009 reboot, "Star Trek", has mentioned that filming for the sequel will commence in January 2011. That's all he knows on that matter. He really doesn't know if JJ Abrams will return to direct the sequel or if he'll just produce it. Also, he knows that all of the main crew members have signed on to return, but he doesn't know if he'll return."Star Trek II" is set for release on June 29th 2012.
